Owner Jim Siler has worked in the broadcast industry since 1986 when he began his career as a radio DJ on Cape Cod, MA. After graduating from Emerson College in Boston, he took a job shooting local news and mixing sound for the evening news at Cape 11 Alive News. In 1988 Jim moved to West Palm Beach, FL and moved into the sound booth for good at WPEC (CBS). In 1997, Jim moved to WFTS (ABC) in Tampa, FL mixing sound for the evening news programs and special events programming. In 2001 Jim was tapped by AT&T Wireless to install and operate the award winning Interactive Distance Learning (IDL) television network, a nationwide satellite television network specializing in training and corporate communications. Jim moved into the freelance world in August 2003 and has since worked as a director, sound and camera operator on projects for some of the nation’s top television networks and corporations. While Jim enjoys working many aspects of video production, his first love has always been sound. Jim still runs camera on many projects but has concentrated his energies and budget into becoming one of the best field sound operators in the video world.
